CODE OF ETHICS

As members of the Louisiana Life Safety and Security Association we shall strive to maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism within the electronic life safety, security, and systems integration industry by adhering to this Code of Ethics.

We Shall:

  • Maintain a high level of ethics, honesty, integrity and quality in the sale, service, installation and monitoring of these systems and any other services offered.
  • Work continuously to improve the craftsmanship and quality of installations through proper training and education of all concerned.
  • Provide mutual support and assistance between members and disseminate information vital to the industry.
  • Cooperate with and assist regulatory agencies in producing codes and legislation beneficial to the general public and the industry.
  • Strive to eliminate excessive regulation that causes increased consumer cost with no apparent benefits
  • Maintain a good relationship with state and local government agencies. Conduct business within the laws and ordinance of said agencies.
  • Participate in worthwhile community activities, which relate to areas outside the industry as well as within.
  • Strive to eliminate false alarms by maintaining a high standard of professionalism with regard to the sale, installation and monitoring of electronic systems, and through proper education of the general public in their use.
